Creative and Purposeful Proposals that Adhere to Book Proposal Guidelines

You’ve invested your heart, soul, and resources into your manuscript, and it’s ready for the next stage—to submit it to literary agents or publishers for consideration (unless you are self- publishing).  Now you have to ask yourself this question, and it is very important:  do you know how to write a book proposal?

There is an art to writing an effective, results-driven book proposal, and it all starts with understanding the book proposal guidelines.  These guidelines are a proven formula for meeting the demands most literary agents will have when reading both fiction book proposals and non fiction book proposals.  If you do not follow these important guidelines, it could mean an automatic rejection, regardless of how good your manuscript is.  And…there are seldom any second chances for an audience with the same literary agent.

This information is not meant to hinder or overwhelm you.  It is meant to clarify one important thing:  you should know how to write a book proposal properly before you ever send one out.  That’s where I come in!  I work with people and dive into the heart of these proposals, helping you master the book proposal guidelines by:

  • Working with you to learn about what you must do as a ghost writing consultant
  • Taking you on as a client and becoming your hired grammatical and structural editing source for your book proposal that you’ve already drafted
  • Preparing the full book proposal for clients such as you, both for fiction book proposals and non fiction book proposals, ensuring that the book proposal guidelines are followed

My CRE8IVE ENERGY book series may also have more information to help you find the answers you need. The entire series is available on Amazon. Give your manuscript its best chance and contact me at create@jillmckellan.com.
